Our Story
SpendCrust was born in 2020 from a frustrating experience. Our founders, Alex Chen and Sarah Martinez, were working at a fast-growing startup where the finance team was drowning in manual expense processing. They watched talented finance professionals waste 40+ hours per week on tasks that should have been automated.
After researching existing solutions, they found that most tools were either too expensive, too complex, or didn't integrate well with existing systems. There had to be a better way.
So they built one. Starting with a simple corporate card program, they added expense management, bill pay, and accounting integrations. They focused on what finance teams actually needed: automation, visibility, and control—without the complexity.
Today, we serve over 15,000 companies worldwide, processing billions in transactions annually. But our mission remains the same: help finance teams spend less time on manual work and more time on what matters.
